For aerosol products brought to the UK market, the reversed epsilon normally used within the EU needs to be replaced with the UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking for all products placed in the UK. This is a new UK product marking that will be used for goods being placed on the markets of England, Wales, and Scotland. It doesn't matter which product type it is, as the UKCA applies to all aerosols, from dry shampoos to rust protectants.
Between December 31, 2020, and December 31, 2021, aerosols sold in the UK can carry either the reverse epsilon or the UKCA mark
After December 31, 2021, all aerosols sold in Great Britain must carry the UKCA mark. The mark may be applied as a sticker until December 31, 2022.
Products sold in both EU and UK will need both reverse epsilon and UKCA mark after 31 December 2021.
