Paragon Nordic and Svenska Krämfabriken Dalarna unite to form UNARO Nordic – a new Nordic leader

Paragon Nordic and Svenska Krämfabriken Dalarna are joining forces under a new name: UNARO Nordic. The newly formed company becomes a leading Nordic player in developing and producing beauty, personal care, and chem-tech products, ready to capture even greater market share.

Paragon Nordic and Svenska Krämfabriken Dalarna are two of the largest developers and contract manufacturers in the Nordics when it comes to personal care and chem-tech. Their offerings span skincare and haircare, styling, sun protection, oral care, and products formulated for textile care, sports, household, and industrial use. The two companies are now joining, broadening capabilities and enhancing the capacity to supply strong brands with innovative products and high-quality manufacturing.

UNARO Nordic aims to surpass one billion SEK in turnover already by 2025.

"With this union, we're creating an even stronger platform for long-term competitiveness and growth – both for ourselves and the customers we'll continue this journey with," says Fredrik Vejgården, incoming CEO of UNARO Nordic AB.

The wide range of product categories, combined with in-depth expertise in, for example, packaging and regulatory affairs, makes UNARO Nordic a comprehensive partner in the industry.

"Our strategy is clear. We want to be a one-stop shop for existing and new clients, with a strong focus on developing solutions that build their unique brands," says Johan Mattsson, board member of the newly formed company and co-founder of Svenska Krämfabriken.

Lars Blak, Chairman of the Board at UNARO Nordic and former CEO and owner of Paragon Nordic, sees the merger as a perfect match:

"The combined potential is huge. These are businesses with shared values and complementary customer offerings. I know many of Paragon Nordic's clients have longed for product types we'll now be able to deliver."

Paragon Nordic operates facilities in Vallentuna, Eket, and Skarnes, Norway. Svenska Krämfabriken Dalarna's production is located in Borlänge, which will also serve as UNARO Nordic's headquarters. The new company will have around 330 employees across four locations.

UNARO Nordic's initial focus will be on the Nordic market. However, collaboration with international partners represents a key opportunity going forward.

"There is considerable appeal for a Scandinavian supplier and partner that enables creative and sustainable product solutions. We see how we can meet demands beyond the Nordics," says Fredrik Vejgården.
